There are so many! Greeting the Tut'Z as they got off the plane for the first time. Drinking out of a watermelon in Italy. The Bunny Dance. Fireproofing our set on the sidewalk 30 minutes before getting into the theatre. I think my favorite and most meaningful moments in life are almost always accompanied by the Tut'z.

What is your favorite Tut'Zanni memory?
My favorite Tut'Z moment has to be the creation story of Ballerina Doctor Frog. It was the day of our premier as a company after 2 weeks of development on ART FOR SALE. We were sitting in the gymnasium of the church in Los Angeles that so graciously gave us space to rehearse. Liam began playing the piano and as he played Patrick began to dance in the frog mask. Out of nowhere, Allegra, ALi and I started telling the story of the Ballerina Doctor Frog (our own version of Frankenstein) and Patrick acted out everything we were saying. We loved it, threw it into our show at last minute and it became one of the most popular and meaningful pieces of the show itself. It was the first moment when I realized just how magical our connection is as artists and helped me to trust the process on a deeper level.
In those days we were dreamers with only the motivation to create together again. I feel like this feeling of magic is what binds us so closely and that motivation is still the truest thing in our art. Molly once answered the question, "Why do you do this together? Isn't it hard?" She said, "I wouldn't do this with any other people in the world. We just love creating together." It is a joy that is impossible to express in words and these two moments in particular remind me why finding this group of artistic partners has been such a miracle that in a lot of ways has saved me and encouraged me to be more independent and confident in my creations.

Proudest career or artistic achievement?
I recently starred in a two-person, direct address show set in the streets of Dublin, playing a guy who in many ways couldn't be further from me, personality-wise. It was a stretch for me in every sense, and it really felt like an achievement I had worked my butt off for.

Oh! A $2 bill in my wallet. My Dad gave me one as a kid and told me to always keep it with me. Then, after Alex and I were married, one day he gave me a $2 bill and said always keep this in your wallet... and I was like, I have one! So I replaced it and gave him the one from my Dad.

Favorite Tut'Zanni memory?
Oh man! There are so many. Tut'z in a tub at the giant mansion we stayed in while traveling through the South. Dancing to "Call Me Maybe" while everyone groaned in disbelief in Italy. Dory pregnant in NY and the rest of us rehearsing while she laid there in need of rice krispy treats. The moment we fell off stage for the first 'Don't Save the Princesses!' and cried... because we had flopped horribly. All of us wanting to sleep in the same room at Liam's parents house. Literally anytime 3 Tut'z are present in the same room, that is my favorite. HAHA.
